As children each of us learnt quite quickly what our Dad liked. We all picked up an empty beer can at some point and said "Ohh, look at me, look, I'm like Dad!" (No?) We also discovered that he loves gold-sprayed pasta frames, pen holders made out of toilet roll tubes and drawings of him looking stick-thin with big biceps.
Our Dads may have developed a more refined taste (certainly in frames) but they still want the simple things – a good bit of meat, a well-deserved beer, no fuss and to spend time with their children.
So keep it simple, treat your Dad to a Bell Burger and a pint.
"A father is someone who carries pictures in his wallet where his money used to be”
You probably owe him a pint or two.
